I hop on Pinterest, I pin these beautiful DIYs, and then, I ask him to do them for me. He wonders why I called them "do it yourself" projects when I have never done one myself. The poor guy just wants a weekend where he doesn't have to build something out of a pallet or mason jar. Dream on honey.
Anyway, this weekend, we finally finished up this project that I found at Inspired by Charm.
How beautiful is that?
The reason I loved it so much is that I have an affinity to sunshines and fabulous quotes. The quote is:
"Some People Look for a Beautiful Place, Others Make a Place Beautiful."
If that is not the theme of our home, I don't know what is. So, now our theme is hanging on our wall.

Ours is a little more short and stubby than the original, but we had a smaller wall we wanted to fill, so we condensed.
The best part is that is rests on the wall beside me while I type (yes, I write at my kitchen counter)
